# The Flower Knows Butterfly Cloud Collar Set: One Box, Eight Products, and a Whole Lot of Pretty I've been selling makeup online for a long time now, and I've watched the "gift set" category go from genuinely terrible to surprisingly good. Most all-in-one kits are a scam if we're being honest. You get a nice box, a mediocre lipstick, and six products nobody asked for. So when I first saw the Flower Knows Butterfly Cloud Collar Collection, I rolled my eyes a little. Then I opened one. Then I opened another one. And now here I am writing a whole article about it, because this set genuinely earns its spot on my shelves. It's SKU P1005008252706232 in our system, priced at $97.79, and yes, it costs more than your average drugstore bundle. Stay with me on that. Let's start with materials and build quality, because this is where the set either wins you over or doesn't. The compacts and palette casing are made from a thick, rigid plastic with a soft-touch matte finish, and the lids use proper magnetic closures, not the flimsy snap tabs you see on cheaper sets. The eyeshadow palette has a translucent cover with raised butterfly and cloud detailing that catches light really nicely without feeling like cheap glitter stuck to plastic. The blush and lipstick tubes have a real weight to them — they feel closer to a mid-range department store item than a novelty gift shop thing. The powders themselves are pressed well. I've had testers sitting open on my counter for weeks and none of them got that chalky, cracked look at the edges. The lipstick bullets are creamy but firm, and the shimmering shades are finely milled, not gritty. That last part matters more than people think. On specifications, the set includes 8 pieces total, which covers blush, lipstick, eyeshadow, and everything in between around it. The powder products sit in standard-sized compacts that will fit in a normal makeup bag, though the full kit together is definitely a drawer organizer situation, not a purse situation. The eyeshadow palette is the big item here, a proper multi-pan layout with mattes and shimmers across a range of soft neutrals and flushed, romantic tones. Colors available in our listing include the Snow Set, Goddess of Ice, Pink Lady, and Moonlight Beauty, and again, all of them arrive in standard sizes, so anyone used to mainstream compacts won't be surprised by the scale of anything. If you want exact pan dimensions, reach out and I'll grab a ruler and take pictures. I'd rather do that than make up numbers. So what is it actually for in daily life? I'll give you three concrete pictures. First, the morning commuter. This is somebody who has fifteen minutes, tops, and needs one palette that does the whole eye, a blush, and a lipstick without digging through five different bags. That person slaps this set on the bathroom counter and gets out the door faster. Second, the gift giver — and I mean anyone shopping for a birthday, a graduation, or a coworker they like a reasonable amount. The presentation alone does most of the work, and the eight products make it feel substantial rather than like a single pen with a bow. Third, the person who just wants to feel put together at home. You know the type. Sunday evening, nice dinner, scented candle, no intention of going out. This set turned that into a ten-minute ritual instead of a chore. That's real usage, and it's also the usage I see most often. Using and maintaining it is honestly simple. The creamy lipstick shades should go on clean, bare lips or over a light balm, and you'll want to build in thin layers rather than swiping on a heavy coat right away, because the pigment load is higher than it looks. Blush should be tapped into the lid first and applied in small circular motions, which keeps the cloud-soft effect the collection is going for. The eyeshadow shimmers apply best with a fingertip, mattes with a fluffy brush. For maintenance, keep the powder compacts away from bathroom-humidity showers, wipe the casing with a dry microfiber cloth when it gets smudged, and close the magnetic lids all the way so the powders don't dry out. Sharpen nothing, obviously — none of this needs sharpening — but do check whether your lipstick bullets retract fully if you live somewhere warm, since creams soften in heat and can smudge the packaging. I had to figure that out the hard way. Don't let the lipsticks ride in your car in July. Now for pros and honest cons. The pros: eight genuinely usable products rather than filler, packaging that survives being tossed in a bag, colors that read soft and flattering on a wide range of skin tones, and that limited-edition empty gift box, which is a nice bonus. Oh — the gift box thing. The supplier sends the empty box as a free gift, style chosen at random from whatever they have in stock, and the listing says disputes and refund requests based on the box style aren't accepted. Read that again so it doesn't catch you off guard. You might get a different pattern than the photos show, and that's the trade-off for getting the box at all. The cons, honestly: it's $97.79, which is a real commitment. Traveling with all eight pieces is bulky. And if you're someone who wants one specific box design, this set is going to frustrate you because nobody can promise you which one arrives. I'd rather you know that now than leave a one-star review later. Here's my expert take on why this design actually works. Flower Knows built a full face routine out of coordinated products, so everything in the box already agrees with everything else — no color clashes, no guessing whether the lipstick goes with the blush. That's the quiet genius of it. The warm-to-cool spread across the four color stories means makeup beginners aren't lost, but experienced users still have enough range to mix and layer. It suits three kinds of people best: makeup newcomers building their first real kit, gift shoppers who want something that looks expensive without needing to know anything about eyeshadow undertones, and anyone who appreciates a coordinated dressing table moment. If you're a working pro artist with strong brand loyalties, this probably isn't your core kit.
