20 Strands/Pack Random Ten Colors Synthetic Colored I-Tip Stick Hair Extensions Straight Hair 16 Inch For Women High Temperature

Let me tell you about one of the stranger little items on our shelves. It's a pack of I-Tip stick hair extensions — twenty strands in a pack, and when I say colored, I mean colored. Ten different shades in every bag, completely random. Synthetic hair, straight, sixteen inches. They sell for $12.16 a pack, and I've watched people pick them up, put them down, come back twenty minutes later and buy three. That's usually a sign we've got something interesting on our hands. Let me start with what these are actually made of, because that matters more than people expect. The fiber is synthetic — high-temperature synthetic, which is the key phrase here. That means the strands can take heat from a flat iron or curling wand up to around 350 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit without immediately melting into a plastic blob, which is what cheap costume hair does when you look at it wrong. The "I-Tip" part refers to the tip itself: a small, solid, bonded end that's slightly thicker than the rest of the strand, shaped like a tiny rod or the letter I if you squint. That tip is what gets clamped into your own hair with a micro-ring. The build quality on these is honestly decent for the price point. The strands are uniform in thickness, the tips are sealed properly rather than frayed, and I haven't had a batch come through where the color bled immediately or the fiber felt like doll hair. It's not salon-grade human hair and I'd never pretend otherwise, but at twelve bucks a pack, it's a legitimate product, not a party favor. Now the specifications, since I know some of you want the numbers before anything else. Each pack contains twenty strands. The length is 16 inches, measured from the tip to the end. The hair is straight — proper straight, no wave baked in, though synthetic fiber does relax slightly with heat. Every pack contains ten random colors, and this is the part that trips people up: random means random. You don't choose. You might get hot pink, electric blue, lime green, purple, red, orange, yellow, teal, magenta, and white. You might get a different ten. The listing photos give you a rough idea of the color family, but each pack is a grab bag, and that's the whole charm. Think of it like a box of Crayons that decided to be hair. The listing carries a couple of shade variations under the same product, and the SKU for the version we stock is P3256807340055573, so if you're hunting for the exact batch, that's the code to reference. So what do you actually do with these? Three things, mostly. First, festivals and concerts. I've sold a ridiculous number of these packs in the week before big shows, because twenty strands is enough to add real color to your hair without committing to anything permanent. Clip in a handful of pink and blue, braid it, and you're done — you can pull them out that night. Second, kids' parties and dress-up. Parents buy two packs, let the birthday kid and their friends go wild, and everyone gets a few colored strands woven in for an afternoon. It photographs great and costs less than a single sheet cake. Third, everyday accent color for people who are bored with their hair but not ready for bleach. If you have dark hair and want a streak of bright red near your face without a salon appointment, six or seven strands micro-ringed in will do it, and you can remove them whenever the mood passes. Using them properly takes about fifteen minutes and a couple of tools. You need a micro-ring or I-Tip applicator tool and a pair of pliers or a clamping tool — the kind you can get for a few dollars. You section a small piece of your natural hair, thread the ring onto the section with the tool, slide the I-Tip up into the ring so it sits right at the scalp, then clamp the ring flat to hold the strand in place. Don't overload each strand — a thin section holds better and lies flatter. For removal, you clamp in reverse or use the removal pliers to crush the ring, and the strand slides right out. Maintenance is simple and boring in the best way. Wash gently, don't scrub at the attachment points, avoid the rings when you condition, and don't sleep on wet extensions if you can help it. For heat styling, keep your tool below 400 degrees and use a heat protectant spray — synthetic fiber that hot without protection will frizz or singe the ends. A wide-tooth comb on dry hair, stored in a loose braid or clipped up when you sleep, and these will last through multiple wears. Now the honest part, because I don't sell things I wouldn't tell the truth about. The pros are real: cheap entry into colored hair, removable in minutes, no bleach, no commitment, works on almost any natural hair texture, and the heat tolerance genuinely means you can style them. Twenty strands in ten colors also means you can mix and match or share the pack with a friend. The cons: they're synthetic, so they won't blend seamlessly with natural hair the way human extensions do, and the texture difference is noticeable if you look closely. Random colors mean you may get a shade you don't want — that's the tradeoff. Micro-ring application requires a tool and a little practice, so if you've never done it, watch a video first or you'll end up with lumpy sections. And because they're sold in random packs, if you fall in love with one specific shade, you can't reliably order more of it. That's just how this product works. Here's the expert read on why this design genuinely works. The I-Tip format exists because it's the lowest-skill, lowest-cost permanent-ish attachment method that still looks natural at the root. A micro-ring holds without glue, without heat, and without damaging the hair shaft the way tape or bonded extensions can. By making the tips from a high-temperature synthetic, the manufacturer gets two wins: the cost stays low enough to sell thirty-plus strands for under fifteen dollars, and the wearer can still run a flat iron over the length for styling. That combination is exactly why this product suits casual users, festival goers, teens, parents buying party favors, and anyone experimenting with color for the first time. It is not built for someone who wants a six-month seamless salon install. It's built for someone who wants to look different on Friday and normal again on Monday, and for that person, it's a very good value.
