Let me tell you about a piece that's been sitting on my workbench for a week now, and I still haven't decided if it's genius or slightly unhinged. Both, probably. The Long Extendable Octopus Tentacles App Controlled Anal Plug is one of those products that shows up in a shipment and makes you stop unpacking for a minute. SKU P3256812247365393, if you're writing it down. It's adult only, brand new, and I mean that in every language on the box — the supplier even stamped the warning in German, French, Russian, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Polish, and Korean. Somebody at the factory wanted there to be absolutely no confusion about who this is for. Adults eighteen and over. That's the whole audience. If you're not in that group, come back later. The material story here is actually the part I care about most, because this is where cheap toys fall apart and where good ones earn their price. The whole thing is poured in body-safe platinum cure silicone. Not the tin-cure stuff that smells like a tire fire for a month, not TPE that gets tacky and starts shedding — platinum cure. It's the same class of silicone used for medical-grade implants and baby bottle nipples, which sounds like a weird comparison until you remember that "body safe" should mean the same thing everywhere. It's non-porous, so it doesn't harbor bacteria in microscopic pits the way jelly or PVC does, and it can be boiled or run through a dishwasher on the top rack without warping. The finish is smooth with a soft matte feel, the kind that holds a little lube instead of repelling it, and there's no visible seam line where the mold halves met. I've handled thousands of silicone pieces and you can usually tell within ten seconds whether someone cut corners. This one doesn't have that tell. Now the numbers, because you deserve them before you commit. The plug body is a graduated dilator shape — the tip starts narrow and widens in stages, which is the entire point of a speculum-style design. The tentacles extend outward and are adjustable through the app, and the plug itself comes in standard sizes rather than a single fixed dimension, so you can step up as your comfort level changes instead of buying three separate products. The suction cup base is wide and it actually holds; I tested it on a tile wall and it stayed put through a fairly aggressive yank. The peeping hole runs through the center of the plug, which serves a couple of purposes we'll get to. Colors are limited right now — the listing's color field is still empty on the backend, so if you order, expect to confirm the actual color with us before it ships. Price is $101.50, which puts it in the mid-range tier. Not an impulse buy, not a mortgage payment. So what do you actually do with something like this on a Tuesday night? Three honest scenarios. First, solo exploration where you want gradual stretch without five separate toys on the nightstand — the graduated dilator plus the extendable tentacles means you can start small and work outward in one session. Second, partner play where the remote app control matters; your partner can adjust the tentacle movement from across the room while you focus on breathing and relaxing, which is genuinely a different experience than reaching down to fiddle with a dial yourself. Third, and this is the one people don't talk about enough, training and pelvic floor work. The peeping hole lets you visually check progress with a mirror or a partner's help, which sounds clinical until you realize that half of anal play anxiety comes from not knowing what's happening back there. Being able to see it removes a lot of the guesswork. Using it well is mostly about patience and lube. Go slow, use more lube than you think you need, and pick a silicone-safe lubricant — water-based or hybrid, not silicone oil, because silicone lube on silicone toys can degrade the surface over time. Start with the plug portion, let your body adjust to each graduated stage before moving to the next, then bring the tentacles into play once you're settled rather than trying to do everything at once. Charge it fully before the first session and pair the app somewhere private, because the initial pairing takes a minute and you don't want that interruption mid-scene. Cleaning is simple: warm water, a gentle unscented soap or a dedicated toy cleaner, rinse thoroughly, and let it air dry before storing it somewhere it won't collect lint. The peeping hole needs a little extra attention with a soft brush or a rinse under running water since it's an internal channel. Once a month, boil it for three to five minutes if you want to be thorough. The pros are real: platinum cure silicone, app control that actually maintains connection, a suction base that works, adjustable width instead of fixed size, and that peeping hole which is genuinely useful rather than gimmicky. The cons are just as real. The app is functional but not luxurious — the interface is basic, and you'll want a fully charged phone nearby because it eats battery. The suction cup is strong on smooth surfaces and useless on textured ones like painted drywall or fabric. There's no travel/storage bag included, which at this price feels like a small oversight. And the tentacle extension mechanism, while smooth, shouldn't be forced; if something feels stuck, stop and check rather than pushing through it. Also worth saying plainly: this is not a beginner's first plug. The graduate sizes help, but if you've never done any anal play before, start with something simpler and come back to this. Here's the design analysis, because this toy is smarter than it looks. Most dilators and speculums are static tools — you insert, you wait, you remove. What this does is combine two separate functions into one object: gradual dilation and adjustable stimulation, with a viewing channel and a wireless control layer on top. That combination is why it works. The graduated shape gives your body a predictable path to follow, which lowers the reflex tension that makes stretching painful. The tentacles give you something to focus on besides the stretch itself, which is a real technique in pain management — distraction. The app control hands agency to a partner, which changes the psychological dynamic entirely. And the peeping hole turns an opaque experience into a visible one. It suits people who already have some experience with anal play, who want a single piece that grows with them instead of a drawer full of one-size toys, and who value the partner-control aspect. It does not suit absolute beginners, people who want zero tech in their bedroom, or anyone who won't take the time to learn how to clean a channeled silicone toy properly. Honest answer: if that's you, this isn't your product, and that's fine. It'll still be here when you're ready.
